I am Tommy McArdle and have been making music in London for the past few years since moving here from the northern wilds of the Donegal coast. |
|
I grew up in a musical household, my Dad playing anything with strings though mainly the fiddle and my Mum a singer and a bit of bodhran. I love anything from folkie rootsy stuff to bebop jazz, the odd concerto and a heart of rock’n’roll. My Dad was a bit of a star with a folk outfit ‘Kontraband’ when we lived in Denmark many moons ago and I loved listening and watching him play.I love melody probably more than anything else about music and am pretty much a sucker for any good song. |
